The campmate, whose wife Rochelle was a member of the hit girl group, appeared to rule out a comeback during a chat with ex-boxer Tony Bellew.
The former fighter asked: “Is the group that Rochelle’s with still going strong?”
Marvin replied: “Nah, that finished years ago. Not too long after we finished to be honest.”
Used to performing in the ring on his own, Tony suggested being in a pop group could be a tense affair.
Marvin said: “It’s like this, but all year round.”

Tony continued: “Little things, I would imagine, just p*** you off!”
Hinting at behind the scenes drama with The Saturdays, Marvin added: “Girls, it’s harder mate as well. Much more competition with each other. It’s all a bit mad.”
The JLS star’s honesty caught some viewers by surprise.
One commented on X: “Hold on did Marvin say that the Saturdays didn’t get on.”

Another said: “Not Marvin shutting down a Saturdays reunion.”
A third said: “Not Marvin exposing a secret The Saturdays feud omg?”
It’s been nearly 10 years since The Saturdays went on hiatus.
Over the years rumours have swirled that the group could be set for a comeback, but the girls’ views on whether it would or should happen never seem to marry up.
Rochelle herself previously poured cold water on the prospect, telling us: “Not really no. I have really moved on with my life.
“Now, I don’t think personally, I could. Marvin would kill me for saying it because he is so present, and I know how much he misses them, and how hands on he is, but just for me and my role in the house and how that looks I can’t imagine it. It’s a lot of time.”
JLS, however, have managed to pull off a successful reunion and recently delivered a sold out UK arena tour.
