STRICTLY fans were left surprised by an ‘editing blunder’ that was exposed during the regular weekly results show.

A particular shot exposed how much of the programme is pre-recorded.

Viewers noticed that one moment pro dancer Vito Coppola was talking to dancer partner Ellie and show host Claudia, and the next had a completely different outfit on and was performing his routine.

The lack of transition left the audience at home baffled.

One person exclaimed: “Super quick costume change there Vito!”

Another complained: “Quick change by Vito there then. So obvious now performances are pre-recorded before the pre-record – they do an increasingly worse job of seamlessly integrating them.

A third agreed: “That’s a quick change Vito!!!”

Although some people were unimpressed by the editing mishap, others found it funny.

Someone took to social media joking: “Wait, how can Vito be talking to Claudia about pasta one minute and then dancing to Texas the next?! Vito is superhuman xo”

Another responded: “Is it a bird, is it a plane, no it’s Super Vito!”

One Strictly fan took to X to explain that dance numbers are performed by the professionals on Saturday night after voting lines close, and then aired on Sunday.

This means the segment isn’t taking place live – which left some watchers unhappy.
