Breaking news

Ireland’s Katie Taylor became a two-weight undisputed champion by beating Chantelle Cameron on points in Dublin.

Taylor avenged the only defeat of her career in an extraordinary light-welterweight contest at 3Arena to win Cameron’s WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF belts.

One judge scored the fight a draw, while the other two were 98-92 96-94 in favour of the home fighter.

“Two-weight undisputed champion, that sounds very nice. Let’s do a trilogy at Croke Park,” said Taylor.
