Lucy, who is a dog walker, often shows glimpses of her off grid lifestyle on social media, where she’s been working on transforming a dated caravan into a modern paradise which she now calls home.
In a clip posted to TikTok (@harringtonshounds), she can be seen showing off the living room area before the makeover – and it features dark oak cabinets, a floral sofa and stained beige carpet.
But thanks to Lucy’s impressive handiwork, it’s fair to say it looks almost unrecognisable – thanks to its trendy new grey floor, coordinating sofa and newly painted white cabinets – not to mention a wooden panel feature wall behind the TV.
However, while the statement wall looks like its been clad with wood panels, Lucy reveals: “It’s stick on flooring.”
The DIY guru, who gets her day-to-day electricity from solar panels, also shared a clip revealing her super stylish bedroom transformation.
Gone is the light coloured oak furniture and dull walls in favour of a much more modern look – including green walls, black side cabinets and hanging wall lights.
She also revealed how she bought her bedding and blanket from B&M, while the mirror on her wall is from none other than Ikea.

As for the kitchen, Lucy painted the old cabinets white and applied oak-themed vinyl work surfaces, before adding mini mosaic stick on tiling.
It wasn’t long before the posts went viral, racking up thousands of views between them and several comments from very impressed social media users.
“You’ve done an amazing job!” praised one.
A second enthused: “You did amazing job!”
A third commented: “Amazing! What a beautiful job!”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “This is the dream!”
A further added: “That’s bigger than my actual house!”
And one more chimed in: “Stunning.”
