She did admit, however, that she could only blame herself for this skin marking.

This lady broke rule number one of corsetry and that was to always wear something underneath.

She didn’t and paid the price. But Megan (@meganciafre) managed to pull through and have a laugh about it.

Megan has a phenomenal TikTok following of 1.1 million followers.

On her platform she shares her passion for the world of fantasy.

In this post, she was playing with the further reaches of that world.

She was dressed all in black, including a short, flared skirt, over-the-knee socks, and a midriff-baring top.

Around her waist, she wore the corset in question.

“I accidentally gave myself a bruise that looks like a hickey,” she joked.

Then she explained how: “From not wearing anything under my corset.”

Megan had learned her lesson: “I should have known better.

There were some consolations though: “I mean, at least my outfit looks cute.”

Some commenters suggested it was a real hickey and Megan was appalled.

“If it was actually a hickey I just wouldn’t post the video of me literally showing it,” she argued.

“The only reason I made the video was because I thought it was funny I got a bruise from a corset.”

She was fully aware these sculptural items should not be worn alone.

“It’s like rule number one, but I was like, ‘nahhh, it’ll be fine for a quick video.’”

But one commenter regarded her video as a public service announcement: “Noted. Always wear something under corsets.”
