A massage therapist has been taken into custody over allegations he sexually assaulted two women during sessions in Western Australia’s South West region.
Detectives alleged the 37-year-old, who worked at a massage business in Bunbury, assaulted two female clients in October and November.
“It will be alleged the assaults occurred during treatments by the massage therapist,” Detective Sergeant Gareth Reed said.
“If anyone has any concerns with regard to their treatment by this massage therapist, we would ask them to get it touch with us.”
The 37-year-old has been charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent and one count of unlawful and indecent assault.
Detective Sergeant Reed said both women were deeply shocked by the experience.
“We have reached out and offered every possible support service we can to them,” he said.
The man remains in custody and is due to face Bunbury Magistrates Court today.
