Why is Michael Strahan not on GMA today?
Fans have noticed that Michael Strahan’s appearances on GMA have been scarce throughout the month of November.
Viewers are used to him being absent on Mondays during the NFL season, but he was MIA for three weeks in November, sparking concern.
ABC said that the unscheduled time off was due to a personal matter, but the network did not provide additional details.
“Michael Strahan will not be with us this week as he is dealing with some personal family matters,” a spokesperson from the television network told The U.S. Sun.
“We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and concerns.”
In addition to being absent from GMA, he has also been absent from the Fox NFL Sunday lineup.
Typically, during the NFL season, Strahan is a regular analyst on football broadcasts, joining hosts Curt Menefee and Terry Bradshaw and analysts Howie Long and Jimmy Johnson.
It is believed that his absence from Fox is also linked to Strahan’s personal matter.
