Welcome back to our live blog coverage of the 2023 AFL draft. Last night was a marathon, with 29 players picked in the largest opening round in draft history.
As a result, I would say we are looking at around 30 more selections tonight across the remaining rounds. That means about 30 more players about to begin their AFL journeys, and many more who will be left disappointed and hoping for a rookie draft lifeline.
It’s going to be interesting to see who clubs fancy at this point in the draft because the talent is very even across the board now. Stick with me throughout the evening as we bring the national draft to a conclusion.
