A van fire on the M25 has broken out and sparked rush hour travel chaos
The vehicle erupted into flames this morning and plumes of black smoke could be seen bellowing from the scene.

At present, all traffic is being held clockwise on the motorway from junction 5 on the M26 and the A21 in Sevenoaks until the Clacket Lane services.
A spokesman for National Highways confirmed: “Traffic has temporarily stopped on the M25 clockwise between J5 and J6 due to a vehicle fire.
“Traffic remains blocked and the Kent Fire and Rescue Service remains working on the scene.”
