Though we wouldn’t advise airing your dirty laundry in public, one TikToker has become so obsessed with her heated drying rack she’s even joked about fancying it.

Taking to TikTok, Katie Kohn revealed her love of the household object with a special tribute video.

Whilst love is a mysterious thing, the young woman seemed to be aware of just how odd her obsession was and jokingly asked in the caption: “Is it possible to be attracted to a clothes dryer?”

Continuing, she added: “I know this is such a middle-aged thing to say but hear me out please?”

Just as you would with a real-life partner, the young woman then reeled off it various attributes as a romantic song played over the top of short clip.

It seems home really is where the heart is for the Tiktoker, as she explained how important it was that the clothes were hidden from sight and demonstrated by zipping them away under the cover.

Unlike like other potential love interests, the heated dryer won’t expect lavish gifts on anniversaries or birthday either.

In fact, Katie showed how it could even save you money on energy bills thanks to its adjustable heat settings.

Proving that the dryer was her perfect match, she explained that it always smells great and leaves warm, fresh in her living room.

Though the video was clearly tongue-in-cheek, others were also suitably impressed with the household item.

In fact, her viral video has racked up over 26,000 views on TikTok with commenters eager to find something similar to what Katie had.

One user even added a heart emoji as they gushed: “I was looking for an alternative way to use my drying rack and THIS IS IT! Thank you!”

Another added: “OMG god this looks dope!”

For those of you out there who are still looking, the dryer was originally from Lakeland and retailed for £149.99.

Thankfully, similar models are still available the brand’s website and have even been reduced as part of Black Friday.

If you weren’t already sold, Lakeland claim that the product will dry your clothes without costing you a small fortune!

Commenting on the now-viral video, they wrote: “…our heated airers cost just pennies an hour to run based on the unit cost of electricity of 30p per kWh between 1 July and 30 September 2023.”

Katie even backed this, saying that it took just 24 hours for clothes to be dried even in the winter months.

Thought this depended on how heavy the fabric was, it’s still pretty impressive.
