Despite the fact that Black Friday is still three weeks away (Friday 24 November), we’ve seen a number of brands launch early-bird sales this week.

Among them is Sky, and this great new sale price on its hugely popular streaming box stands head and shoulders above the rest.

The basic Sky Stream plan formerly cost £26 per month, but has now fallen to just £19 – ultimately, that’s a saving of £125 across 18 months.

This entry-level includes Sky TV and Netflix as standard: you can add bolt-on extras like Sky Cinema and Sky Sports and pay extra each month.

Sky Stream hit the market in October 2022 as a serious force to be reckoned with in the streaming space.

Unless older services like Sky Q, this diminutive box operates via wi-fi, so no satellite installation is required on your property.

Our tech writer Jamie Harris tested this streaming gadget when it was released and in his Sky Stream review, he said: ‘It’s clear that broadband is the future for television… products like this are paving the way.’

At a time when streaming costs are on the rise – and yes, we’re talking about you and your price hike Disney – we’re very happy to see Sky’s streaming product make an appearance in the sales.

We know that lots of people will be asking themselves if Sky will reduce prices further as we draw closer to Black Friday itself, but they’ve assured us these deal prices will run until 28th November.
