Aidan O’Brien’s star completed the Derby double this year and King had Of Steel behind when they met in the Irish Champion Stakes.

Since then, King Of Steel has come out and won the Champion Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The reason? Rodgers wears the number eight and missed out on Mage, donning the number eight, winning the Kentucky Derby.
