Occasional Digest - a story for you

YOUR wedding day is supposed to be your time to shine, but that all went out the window for one bride when someone else turned up in what looked like a wedding dress.

Not only that, but the floor-length white gown looked also looked almost identical to the actual bride’s dress.

In a clip shared on TikTok by the wedding planner, a woman can be seen dancing in the controversial dress.

“Look at the back of that beautiful bride. She’s glowing. Except that’s not the bride,” she slammed.

The lacey gown caught the attention of the guests, as well as the bride, who seemed to also notice the fashion faux pas.

In one moment the bride walks past the guest and glares knowingly at the camera, making it clear she wasn’t impressed.

“Everybody knows proper etiquette is you do not wear white to a wedding, or a light ivory, you just don’t. You don’t do it,” the wedding planner added in another video.

In fact, there was more than one guest who broke the wedding rules by wearing white.

Four guests wore white to the big day, including the woman in the bridal-style gown, leaving other TikTok users baffled.

“The one that looked like an actual wedding dress floored me,” one commented.

“I mean that’s not even just a white dress, that’s straight up a wedding dress,” a second slammed.

Meanwhile, others thought someone should’ve said something to the guest.

“I hope someone asked her to leave, or at least go home and change because I’d be so mad,” one person commented.

But another had another solution, they wrote: “The maid of honour should’ve spilt red wine on it.”

“Where is the bridesmaid with the red wine,” another joked.

The wedding planner noted that the woman was the talk of the evening between the other guests.

But she didn’t her or the other guests wearing white off the hook.

“I spoke the them because the bride and her mother specifically told me to,” the wedding planner explained.

However, the guests “were not apologetic whatsoever” and didn’t understand what all the fuss was about.

In the end, the guests were allowed to stay at the wedding, and weren’t asked to change clothes.

They were told they couldn’t sit by the aisle during the ceremony so they wouldn’t be in any pictures though, the wedding planner said.
