A mass brawl broke out on the iconic beach

Boca fans have already flooded Rio de Janeiro ahead of the match and set up base camp at the iconic beach.

But things soured after an angry mob stormed the area where fans of the Argentine club were residing.

Chaos ensued, with the multiple scuffles that broke forcing families to flee the famous beach.

Armed police quickly arrived on the scene to try and restore order.

And according to Ioda Valley News, one Boca fan was nicked for throwing glass bottles at the coppers.

Another was said to have been taken into custody for kicking a DOG before attacking another man.

Police, eventually, managed to quell the ugly scenes and restore order to the picturesque beach.

Multiple clips of the incident went viral on X and received a slew of comments, with one user saying: “Sickening.”

Argentine giants Boca booked their place in Saturday’s final with a shoot-out victory over Palmeiras last month.
