Helen Guttridge, from Cheshire, has been taken pictures next the most weird and wonderful signs she can find – from ‘Boobery’ to ‘Fanny Avenue’.

Helen started her journey around Europe in search of the weirdest street signs three years ago.

The 44-year-old woman turned a road trip into a “rude trip” in hopes of uncovering the most naughty places in the region.

She stumbled across shocking names such as ‘Willy’ and ‘P***y’ in France, ‘W**k’, ‘Rimsting’, and ‘Anger’ in Germany, and ‘F***ing’ in Austria.

Helen said: “It all started as an accident but now I have a map with every places in the UK and it’s now my fun little hobby.

“I have my own pinned map on Google of where I’ve been and where I want to go – I’m currently on 37 places with lots more planned.”

The dedicated woman decided to embark on the odd mission after spotting a road sign that said ‘Cocks Hill’ in Cornwall.

The shocked woman then started to search online for any strange signs for her to pose with.

Some of the naughtiest include Dick Lane in Bradford and Morphany Lane in Warrington – and her foreign faves are Willy and Bitche in France.

She added: “My favourite one I’ve been to is ‘F***ing’ in Austria which was incredibly lucky because a week later they changed it to ‘Fugging’.”

The lucky woman also stumbled upon other locations just by coincidence.

“It’s surprising how many of them I’ve found by chance. I’ll be visiting someone and just drive past things.

“My friends and family always send me things they find if they think it’s somewhere I’d like to visit.

“It’s not just rude signs I look for, it’s generally stupid ones too like ‘Brian’ or ‘Water me trout’,” she explained.

Helen said her next weird location on her list is ‘Twat’ in the Shetlands.

She aims to take a staggering 19-hour drive from her home in Runcorn just to take a picture next to the sign to add to her wall of fame.

“I believe it’s one of the most stolen signs in the UK so it’s a bit of a gamble driving all that way, but I think it’s worth making a special trip for,” she said.

Next she plans to take her adventure to the US to find more signs to pose next to.

She added: “I’d love to go over to America but I’d need to tie a bit of a road trip in with it like route 66 – if there was a way to do that with all my rude places that would be ideal.”
