The events organizer (@ldhevents) shared her decorating advice with her TikTok followers.

She explained that Thanksgiving dinner could be had at a table that was done up but still simple, it just took a bit of skill.

“Simple Dollar Tree Thanksgiving tablescapes for beginners,” she offered.

She showed off her layout, including brown and orange striped tablecloths, a large pumpkin, fake leaves, autumnal dinner plates, and glassware.

She kept all the pieces on the table warm, keeping the color selection orange and brown, with some muted greens, mixing in white dishes for a pop of brightness.

The content creator explained that everything was stuff she found from Dollar Tree and that Thanksgiving didn’t have to break the bank.

In fact, she recycled many of the items she had on hand for the occasion, getting multiple uses out of what she had previously bought.

People were impressed with her eye and her sensibility when it came to saving money.

Many were curious about her budget for the table set-up: “How much did you spend on this table?” asked one commenter.

She explained it didn’t cost her very much to get the table together.

“$18 on Dollar Tree items,” she revealed, noting that some of the items were pieces she had from previous years of celebrations.

“The large pumpkin, charges, runner, riser, and garland were all previous purchases from different stores.”
