One of them is from the hugely popular Castlevania series, and hasn’t seen a re-release for many years.
All three games will be available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online service.
This is the cheaper tier of the service, and anyone subscribed can access all three games completely free.
The first game being added to the service is Castlevania Legends, which was originally released for the Game Boy.
You play as Sonia Belmont, and she earns Soul Weapons for each boss she defeats, allowing her to move deeper through the castle.
The other two games being added to the service are from the original Nintendo Entertainment System.
First up is The Mysterious Murasame Castle, which was only released in the West much later as part of the 3DS library.
Using the bigger capacity of the Japanese-exclusive Famicom Disc System, Murasame Castle is often compared to the original Legend of Zelda
Four neighbouring lords take on the power to summon armies of ninjas at will that are wreaking havoc on the world.
You play a brave samurai sent to investigate the four castles, and take down the evil lords.
The final game being added is Devil World, where you play as the dragon Tamagon as you make your way through a maze, completing different challenges.
F-Zero 99, Nintendo’s free-to-play battle royale version of F-Zero has also received a free upgrade.
Three new tracks have been added to the game, including Mute City 3, Fire Field, and Red Canyon 2.
If you have Nintendo Switch Online, you first need to download the Game Boy or NES app from the eShop.
You can then open the app from your home screen and select the game you wish to play.
