After spotting the top cleaning tip online, one savvy homeowner decided to put it to the test and give it a go for themselves.

Taking to TikTok (@tiger_lee_uk) to document the process, she begins: “Sick and tired of condensation on your window every day?

“Do this and you’re sorted.”

She can then be seen grabbing a bottle of ‘fresh and concentrated washing up liquid’ from Wilko, which costs just £1.

Applying a generous amount onto a cloth, she then rubs it all across the window, which is covered in water droplets caused by condensation.

“Wipe your windows with dishwashing liquid and see the magic,” she says.

The savvy woman goes on to say that she didn’t dry it after, but rather left it like that overnight – and it’s fair to say she’s delighted with the results.

“I am amazed the following morning,” she enthused.

It wasn’t long before the post went viral, racking up thousands of views and several comments from very impressed social media users.

“How often? Daily?” asked one person.

The woman replied: “Nope. It takes a week though. Better than everyday dealing with condensation.”
