Kris Renee Books (@krisreneeauthor) has garnered over 101,000 followers on TikTok, where she gives a glimpse into her family life and career as an author.

She took to the social media platform to speak candidly about the embarrassment that she experienced in public.

She said: “I’ve been running errands all morning.

“I’ve been to four different places and everywhere I go people are shouting out to me.

“I’m getting hit on left and right.

“Listen I know I look snatched today but y’all need to settle down, that’s what I was thinking.

“Women screaming out of their windows at me – I’m sorry but I’m married.

“Alright, there are some accounts on here that have made me question whether or not I’d be interested.

“But for the most part, I’m still like 71 percent into my husband.

“And the last guy in the parking lot he freaking rolled his window down.”

Kris said she waved her hand in the man’s face to show her wedding ring and repeatedly yelled that she was married.

She continued: “I even sent my husband a text and was like your old lady, she’s still got it.

“And then I came in here to go to the bathroom at the doctor’s office.”

Kris, who was filming herself in the mirror reflection, turned around to show the bottom of her bodysuit hanging out.

She looked humiliated as she realized that people hadn’t actually been trying to flirt with her.

She said: “Do you see that, do you freaking see that?

“It’s my shirt, it’s the buttons that go down and around on my shirt.

“Nobody was hitting on me, nobody.”

She added in the caption: “The top button of my shirt popping open while I was making this video really sums it all up.

“Buttons hate me. So does the universe.”

She included the hashtags #whyamilikethis, #mombrain, and #momsstillgotit.

Kris vowed never to wear the top again, saying: “This shirt will no longer be a part of my closet. It’s not my friend.”

She said everyone at home swore they didn’t see the problem with her outfit when she called them to ask why they hadn’t said anything before she left the house.

She added: “My daughter said it looked like toilet paper hanging out [laughing].”

The video went viral with almost 40,000 views, thousands of likes, and commenters left in hysterics.

One person wrote: “Humbled quick [laughing]. You are still [fire] though.”

Another commented: “Still stunning though! Thanks for the laugh! I had a similar experience [laughing].”

A third chimed in: “Oh girl, no. The end was so much worse than I could’ve imagined.

“My heart hurts for you. Shout out to the nice people who tried to help.”

Another added: “This is exactly why I don’t wear them. I have this fear of forgetting to snap them up [laughing].”
