The Silver Ferns have hit back with a brilliant win in the third match of the Constellation Cup series against Australia, giving themselves a chance to level things up in the final clash in Auckland. 

The Diamonds won the first two Tests by a combined 19 goals in Melbourne and Brisbane, and started the third match in Invercargill in similar fashion, with a four-goal lead after the first quarter.

New Zealand hit the front thanks to an 18-10 second period before the Diamonds hit back to take a two-goal lead into the final quarter.

But the Ferns held their nerve in front of their home fans and finished on a 16-11 run to lock up the 56-53 win.
