A TikTok user has posted a video recommending the Hot Hands product sold by motoring and cycling services retail firm Halfords.
They shared a 15-second clip demonstrating the hand warmers which can be bought for just over £3 for five pairs from Halfords.
They added the caption: “These are amazing for keeping warm – basically a temporary hot water bottle.”
Hashtags they added suggested the potential use for people who are homeless as well as those living in cars or vans.
Halfords has packets of five pairs on sale online for as little as £3.20, meaning they can cost just 64p per pair.
