Hilary York took to YouTube to show off the savvy buy she found that transformed her bathroom.
The US-based mum was in the middle of renovating her bathroom on a budget when she came across the buy.
She said: “If you have a window and you want some privacy but don’t wan to cover it up with a blind or a curtain, I found something.”
Hilary revealed she found the item while shopping and was intrigued by the £7 buy which was labelled ‘frosted glass.’
The spray from Rust-oleum promises to give windows a frosted glass effect to make it less see through.

She decided to try it out for herself as the can only cost £7 – much cheaper then installing blinds or putting up a curtain.
Hilary gave the windows a clean and dried them before using the spray on her windows.
“I wanted it to be exposed but I didn’t want peiple to see what’s going on inside,” she said of the window.
“Of course, I was sceptical, it’s under $7 and promising to save all your problems,” she continued.
“But I was desperate because I’m doing this bathroom renovation on a budget.”
She added: “All you have to do is clean the surface and spray two to three coats with two minutes in between.
“That’s it, that’s absolutely it, I was so blown away this stuff worked so good.”
Hilary then showed the before and after results of the spray can and her windows were no longer transparent – giving her the privacy she wanted.
You can purchase the exact same spray can on Amazon for just £7 in the UK.
The clip posted to her YouTube account @theyorks was a hit with social media users who rushed to the comments thanking her for the hack.
One person wrote: “This is freakin brilliant.”
Another commented: “Thank you!! My dog chewed up the blinds at our apt, I Def need something like this lol.”
“That looks SO good! Wow I am INTRIGUED and impressed,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “This spray is a GREAT INVENTION.”
“Came out so much better than I imagined,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Wow that is actually really impressive!”
