Naga, 48, was back on the red sofa alongside Charlie Stayt for the first time this week.
Meanwhile Carol, 60, joined them via video link to give the weather updates.
But after Carol had finished one of her reports, Naga pointed out a major change to her BBC Breakfast colleague.
She said: “Carol, may I ask a question?”
As Carol said yes, Naga continued: “Your first map, the map of the UK. Have you added some details about the roads in it?”

Carol replied: “Yes, you can see them quite nicely here, can’t you? It’s useful when it’s snowing, for example, in the winter to have these [road lines] on.”
Naga responded: “Oh yes, of course!”
Happy that her colleague was paying attention to her reports, Carol said: “Well observed!”
Naga joked: “Carol, you know I always watch you very closely.”
With a laugh Carol said: “I do!” before Naga added: “Don’t worry too much, see you later.”
There exchange was much nicer than one that took place last week, when Naga told Carol to “try harder next time” in a catty goodbye.
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
