DIY-loving couple Charlotte and Oliver (@onemoreproject) are passionate about renovating their home and have been sharing their projects on TikTok.

In a recent video, they revealed how they turned their dated and washed-out guest bathroom into a moody haven without breaking the bank.

“In an effort to keep costs low, I am just going to refresh this vanity for the time being,” Charlotte began, spray painting the sink white with $30 tub and tile paint from Amazon.

While Charlotte admitted that they would replace the vanity down the line, right now they are in saving mode.

“Money does not grow on trees.”

Still, she “didn’t really love the finish” that the spray paint gave and noted she’d be hesitant to try it again.

She moved onto the walls next, hoping to improve their yellowy hue.

“I installed the tried-and-true beadboard wallpaper onto the walls for some character.

“If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I love this stuff.”

The peel and stick, which only costs $33 from Amazon, actually looked more like a pricey built-in wooden trim that felt even more luxe when she painted it dark green.

“The color [is] black bamboo by BEHR, which I think is so pretty, cozy, and moody – which is exactly what we were going for,” she said, noting that she mixed it with white to get the green shade.

Addressing the accessories next, she updated the shiny silver light fixtures and faucets by applying Rub And Buff in the color European Gold to them.

In a follow up video, Charlotte said she used a $14 Amazon stencil to paint a floral pattern on the white walls above the trim, and $12 contact paper that resembled wood for the counter.

Her big reveal left viewers in awe.

“This is one of the best DIY bathroom refreshes I’ve ever seen! I’m so impressed, especially because you made it budget friendly,” one person wrote.

“That green with the stencil is IT,” added another.
