Noky, 26 — who represented Great Britain in last year’s Miss Universe — is one of 16 contestants in tonight’s ITV launch.
The single finance worker with a master’s degree in chemical engineering spent time with women disfigured by acid attacks in India.
A TV source said: “Noky’s an ideal housemate. Not only is she beautiful but she’s got brains and a fantastic personality.
“Several casting producers have been desperate to sign her to reality shows.
“But she didn’t want to choose something too obvious like Love Island.
“She felt BB would show there’s more to her than looks.”
Noky, from Derbyshire, said last year: “In pageants this day and age it’s not just about being the prettiest face. You have to have the whole package.”
It comes as ITV unveiled snaps of the vast purpose-built house in North West London.
It has an upstairs area and a mobility lift to ensure the space is accessible to wheelchairs.
There are single and double beds, a pamper station and a huge bathroom with a tub.
The six-week series, hosted by AJ Odudu, 35, and Will Best, 38, starts at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX.
Channel 5 cancelled Big Brother in 2018.
