Hisuian Decidueye with the Mightiest Mark and a Grass Tera Type will be appearing in 7-star Tera Raids at black crystals throughout Pokémon Scarlet & Violet very soon.
The Tera Raid battle event will run from October 6 until October 8, 2023, and then again from October 13 to October 15, 2023.
Hisuian Pokémon cannot normally be found in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet‘s Paldea region.
They are native to the Hisui region, the setting of another game in the series, Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
In Tera Raids, players join forces with three other trainers to defeat a powerful Tera Pokémon before the time is up.
The Pokémon species encountered during these events vary, and they often have a rare Tera type.
To join a Tera Raid, players first need to download the latest Poké Portal News in-game.
This is done by selecting the Poké Portal from the game menu (X button), then Mystery Gift, and finally, Check Poké Portal News.
Players can start Tera Raid battles like this one by interacting with black crystals found throughout the world.
Only players who have completed certain postgame events are able to find black crystals.
Nevertheless, others who haven’t can still join a battle in multiplayer.
This Tera Raid will be marked on the map with a black crystal icon featuring a sparkling aura.
The icon will have the Grass type symbol, as the Tera Type of the Hisuian Decidueye for this event will always be Grass.
The 7-star Tera Raids are tough, so make sure you team up with friends for this one.
