The actress, 39, is mum to Wren Ivy, six, and Lark, 22 months, with her ex partner and co-star Jack Ashton.
Helen keeps her family life private on social media but gave fans an insight into the past few months with a series of gorgeous family snaps.
The star of the hit BBC drama caption her instagram album “A summer of love” and among the images were sweet snaps of her two children enjoying a day at the seaside.
While she didn’t show her daughters faces, the pair were seen from the back wearing summer dresses and watching a glider soar above the waves.
Wren has long red hair, while Lark has blonde curls.

Another snap showed Lark peeking through a fence, while Wren modelled a straw hat in another.
Wren is also clearly a fan of the Netflix smash hit Wednesday as Helen posted an image of the youngster’s spooky cake, themed around the Addams family member, for her recent sixth birthday.
Other shots in the album showed Helen with her long brown hair, looking a far cry from her character Trixie, who sports peroxide blonde locks.
Helen showed off her toned physique as she snapped herself in the gym wearing purple activewear.
The actress has clearly put a difficult few months behind her as she and Jack, who plays Rev. Tom Hereward in the period show, announced their split back in July.
They had been together for seven years, having become an item back in 2016.
Helen said in a statement: “Some months ago, we separated.
“Our two beautiful girls remain the focus and I respectfully ask for privacy for this next chapter.”
Previously, Helen was married to actor Oliver Boot from 2011-2015.
