Sept. 28 (UPI) — A shooting in Rotterdam, Netherlands, killed at least 3 people on Thursday, authorities said. One person is in custody.

Initial reports say a 39-year-old woman and a 42-year-old teacher at Erasmus University were killed in attacks that took place at two locations.

Later, police said a 14-year-old victim, described as the daughter of one of the other shooting victims, died from her gunshot injuries, too.

Police say the person in custody is a 32-year-old student at the university. No motive has been revealed.

According to one report, the two fatalities were at a house and at a university medical center in the port city.

Police also said fires were started at both shooting locations.
