The former Made in Chelsea star says that his sister Louise has made him broody after she became a mum in 2021.
Sam, 31, says that he would like to have at least three or four children with Zara – who is currently dancing her socks off on Strictly.
“When I’m 40 I definitely hope that I have a family. I want marriage and kids,” Sam told The Mirror.
“I probably want three or four. But Zara’s in charge, she’ll probably tell me!
“I look at my little baby nephew Leo, he’s not a baby anymore – he’s two-and-a-half, but he’s the cutest thing in the world. If I could have a child like him I’d have ten!”
Sam recently spoke about how he felt about Zara dancing with Graziano Di Prima on Strictly.
Chatting on his Hits Radio show, the reality star said: “What a beautiful man as well… big muscles, about 6 foot 4, jacked and a year younger than me as well which is terrifying.”
He also revealed that he had known about the partnership for some time and he and Zara had begun to welcome Graziano into their own lives.
Sam added: “He came round for dinner with his lovely, beautiful wife not long ago – we made him spag bol – and we found out loads about him.
“He grew up in Sicily, he was a grape stomper – I think that’s what they call it!
“He put a roof over his parents head when he started dancing, he’s got the most amazing story, he’s the loveliest man.”
Zara is the first Love Island star to make it to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.
During the BBC contest’s launch show, she confessed to watching the show since she was a child and revealed that her ‘dreams had come true’ to now be a contestant.
