Posting on social media, Daisy shared her budget-friendly, delicious and easy recipe, costing just 85p per portion.

Sharing her broccoli pasta dish, she noted: “Broccoli pasta for 85p per portion! Under £4 for a family for four! So delicious too.”

The food fan then explained: “It’s day five of 30 days of £1 dinners and today we’re making creamy broccoli pasta, for just 85p per portion.

“So to make it, you want to chop up two heads of broccoli and then pop them on to boil.

“After about seven minutes, they should be nice and soft, so take them out and in the same water you want to boil your pasta.

“Once that’s done, take it out and drain all the water and then add some olive oil into the pan.

“Chop up your broccoli nice and finely and add that back into the pan, along with about three to four garlic cloves, and also some salt and pepper.

“You can also add chilli flakes as well, if you want a bit of heat.

“After a couple of minutes, add in some double cream, give it a stir through, cook for a couple of minutes and add in some hard Italian cheese, like Parmesan or pecorino.

“Cook for a couple of minutes until it gets nice and thick and then you can add in your cooked pasta.

“Stir through and you’re done.”

Daisy’s finished dish looked mouth-wateringly tasty and for just 85p a portion, we think it’s definitely worth a try.

Daisy’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @dishesbydaisy, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed a staggering 2.7 million views.
