It’s all thanks to a new partnership between TV maker Philips and Paramount’s Pluto.
Pluto is Paramount’s free, ad-supported television (FAST) service, which is being rolled out to select Philips Smart TVs in the coming weeks.
The partnership covers customers in 25 countries, including the UK and Ireland.
Any Philips Smart TV model made between 2021 and 2023 will soon be able to access the Pluto app from their home screens.
But only if those telly’s are running the TP Vision operating platform.
Pluto TV is available on a number of platforms, including Virgin Media, smart TVs by Samsung and LG, Amazon Fire TV and even PlayStation devices.
The app is home to hundreds of new series and movie options, from comedy to crime, to reality and anime.
It even has a bunch of kids shows on there.
If you have a 2023 Philips smart TV, then you’ll likely already be familiar with this app.
The Pluto TV App is already available on all 2023 model TVs featuring TP Vision’s smart TV platform.
But it is now coming to earlier 2021/2022 models in the next automatic update.
“This deal is a great opportunity to bring Pluto TV to an increasingly large audience,” Pluto TV’s Executive Vice President and International General Manager, Olivier Jollet, said in a statement.
He added the deal was a “testament” to the company’s ambition to make more free service accessible to audiences worldwide.
