In a scathing review of the Model 3, TikTok user londonlaz highlighted five features which left him at boiling point.
The first was material around the doors which he said “scratched easily” when rubbed by the driver’s shoes.
Pointing out a flurry of white abrasions around the door lip and lower panels, the TikTokker blamed “how low the seats are” for the mess.
And he had issues with the “extremely shiny” centre console which he claims leaves him blinded when the sun hits it.
The regret-filled EV driver also blasted the glove box for having no physical buttons to open it.
Instead, Tesla drivers must go into the touchscreen interface just to get the flip-down storage unit open.
It wasn’t the only storage feature the TikTokker blasted.
Londonlaz said it was “a pain” opening the central console – as it would only shhut with “just the right amount of pressure”.
But above everything, it was opening the doors that left the motorist livid.
This is done by an electric button, meaning there is no traditional lever system.
Not only this, but if a handle directly below the button handle is pressed, a driver could accidentally “shatter the windows”.
This is a safety feature if passengers are trapped inside the car and need to get out in an emergency.
It comes as another driver opened up about his nightmare journey after his holiday was ruined by their EV.
He revealed how he spent the whole trip searching for a place to charge it.
Ben Rowell booked a summer getaway to Tuscany, Italy, with his family and hired a Polestar 2 – but he was left regretting it.
Another driver revealed the three reasons she will never buy an electric car in a rampage against the innovative alternative.
The mum-of-two Christy Bieber believes that electric cars just won’t work for her lifestyle.
The first reason stopping her from purchasing an EV is because there aren’t many good used ones available.
