Following Rishi Sharma’s accidental death, Thomas King (portrayed by James Chase) makes a huge decision and it leaves his girlfriend Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) feeling insecure.

Thomas rocked up the eponymous ITV village earlier this year after a ten-year-long absence and immediately rekindled his romance with Belle.

The pair have encountered some minor issues along the way, particularly as Belle had to catch him up on all the events that occurred while he was away.

In doing so, she revealed dark parts of her past and opened up about her schizophrenia diagnosis.

Tom held nothing against Belle and, instead, supported her as much as he could.

But could their relationship go downhill?

And could another woman steal Tom away from Belle?

Coming up next week, Belle feels insecure when Tom says he’s looking for a new place possibly away from the village.

Later, Belle’s thrown to see a hint of chemistry between a married Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) and Tom.

Pulling up to the vets’ in his fancy new car, Tom unwittingly leaves Belle unimpressed when she spots him offering to take pregnant Dawn for a spin in it.

Later, in a bid to make peace, Dawn invites a reluctant Belle to bring Tom along on a double date with herself and Billy (Jay Kontzle) but tensions soon rise.

Belle makes to leave, followed by Tom who is soon called out on a vets call.

Preparing to leave with his vet bag, Tom is confronted by a scally who demands his car keys.
