It seems that the supermarket is planning to update their stock, so have reduced the prices of a load of duvets.
And savvy shoppers taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to boast about their buys.
Corinne shared a picture of the Slumberdown Big Hugs double duvet that she’d managed to get for just £6 – reduced from £24 – in Tesco in Oldham.
Not only that, the duvet is 13.5 tog – perfect for the upcoming colder weather.
Another happy buyer was Adrina, who wrote: “Tesco have their Anti Allergy 13.5 duvet reduced!
“£4 single, £4.75 double and £5.50 king.”
She ended up buying a double and a king for herself – reduced from £19 and £22 respectively.
Adrina also shared a picture of the duvets on sale, showing that they’ve been marked up as “reduced to clear” and aren’t a special Clubcard price.
Emma also managed to nab one of the anti-allergy duvets, as she wrote: “My bargain of the day, double duvet £4.75!
“King ones are £5.50, Tesco.”
Others took to the comments section to tag their friends, with some going as far as tagging Tesco employee pals and asking them to “hide” them one.
It’s only the 13.5 tog duvets that have been reduced to clear- the 10.5 togs are still full price in Tesco.
According to the product description on the website, the “Anti Allergy range is filled with a polyester filling that’s treated to prevent the development of dust mites, bacteria and fungi covered with a soft touch cover”.
“Perfect for everyday use,” it added.
