Shoppers have been rushing to eBay to pick up the refurbished iPhone 11 for just £220 – that’s almost half of what you’d spend brand-new.

We spotted this Apple classic on eBay’s refurbished mobiles page, a great place if you’re on the lookout for Apple or Android tech on a budget.

With 574 units already sold, we recommend acting fast if you want to get your hands on one.

You may be cautious when you see the term refurbished, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing if you’re after the tech and not the brand-new phone feeling.

This phone has a refurbished rating of ‘good’, which means that it has been inspected, cleaned and tested by a qualified seller, so the device still functions as intended and comes with a one-year guarantee to provide peace of mind.

The only thing you will have is some cosmetic wear and tear. This won’t impact the functionality of the device but will remove the new phone smell from your purchase, but at £210 less, it sounds worth it to us.

By contrast, a brand-new iPhone 11 costs £439 at both John Lewis and Currys.

Let’s have a quick rundown of the specs to see what this nifty phone can do. Older-generation Apple phones are still very capable, and the iPhone 11 is no exception.

It has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD screen, that’s the same screen size as the current flagship device, the iPhone 14.

The device has stood the test of time in terms of durability since it has an IP rating of 68 which translates to water and dust resistance up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. So, if, for whatever reason, you can’t get it out in the first few seconds, you won’t wind up back here straight away looking for a new bargain.
