PRINCE Andrew was allegedly saved from being probed by the FBI thanks to his royal blood, a lawyer for Jeffrey Epstein’s victims has claimed.

Lisa Bloom represents five of paedophile Epstein’s victims and a witness who claims she saw Andrew with his accuser Virginia Giuffre when she was a teenager.

The lawyer claims a decision was “made at the highest level” not to “go after” Andrew.

She told the Mirror: “The FBI clearly decided it was not going to go after Prince Andrew.

“That is a decision that had to be made at the highest level.

“I do believe if this were somebody who was not a royal the investigation would’ve gone forward.”

Lisa said that Andrew’s car crash Newsnight interview in 2019 could have been used against him in court.

She claimed that Andrew made claims in the interview which the FBI “could probably disprove”.

The lawyer added that the FBI could have spoken to witnesses and even had Andrew extradited to the US to face questions.

Andrew refused to speak to US cops after they asked the UK government for permission to grill him under oath.

In 2021 Virginia Giuffre brought a lawsuit against Andrew, whom she accused of rape and sexual abuse.

Andrew settled out of court for a reported £12million – without admitting liability.

Lisa said that Andrew effectively “lost the case” because he was unable to clear his name.

Andrew denies all allegations.

The prince also reportedly faces losing access to another beloved home – after refusing to leave his Windsor mansion in a row with King Charles.
