The former PE teacher shot to fame in 2021 when he took part in the seventh series of the ITV2 dating show.
Hugo Hammond, 27 who had a nightmare in the villa and struggled to find love, has now revealed he has returned to his “normal job”.
The former reality show contestant took to Instagram where he shared a snap of him playing cricket and expressed how “grateful” he is to do “what I love”.
Fans rushed to the comments section and sent Hugo positive messages.
One wrote: “Well done Hugo.”
A second added: “You are an amazing cricket player.”
A third penned: “Keep going. Good luck.”
Hugo captioned the post: “So grateful to be able to do what I love with @lashingsworldxi. Special mention to @mandhcricket for there continued support, best in the game. Use MHHUGO10 @ checkout for a surprise.”
He also seems to have found love again as he recently went Instagram official with his new girlfriend, Layla Ruby John, 21.
Layla appeared on the Aussie version of Love Island.
The pair have moved in together in Australia – and Layla even documented their move online.
Layla documented a day in the lives of their big move on TikTok, saying, “Today was the big day.” Hugo has officially moved out of his home and into mine.
“We got coffees, he drove, we moved in, we just chilled and we made some lunch.”
Earlier in 2022 Hugo was left heartbroken following the death of his beloved dog.
The 25-year-old described the chocolate Labrador, called Mocha, who he has had since childhood, as his “best friend” in a touching tribute.
Sharing a series of pictures of himself alongside the gorgeous pooch, devastated Hugo told his fans: “Today is a sad day in the Hammond house as we said farewell to our perfect choccy lab, Mocha 🐾
“She had so much love to give and just loved being near people ❤️ Although, the worst guard dog ever as she never barked.”
