A WOMAN has died after a 4×4 that being chased by police was involved in a two-vehicle crash.
A woman has died after a crash on the A143
Cops were chasing a Land Rover Defender at 4.30pm yesterday on the A143 when it smashed into the woman’s Nissan Juke.
The horror incident took place near the Old Harleston Road junction close to Earsham, near Bungay.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two men in the Land Rover were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police had been investigating the suspected theft of a vehicle from Suffolk at the time of the crash.
The incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct by Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies.
