She said the recipe’s simple and perfect for lazy cooks but tastes like it took a lot of work.
Brittnee (@brittneeciara) shared the recipe with over 480,000 TikTok followers.
“I love a good breakfast galette and if you’ve been following me for a while, you may have seen me make this before,” she said.
The chef explained that she considered the impressive-looking galette to be a “lazy breakfast.”
Flouring her cutting board, she laid out a tray of Pepperidge Farm’s Puff Pastry sheets, rolling out the pastry sheet and baking it in a sheet tray with a layer of egg wash.
“Throw it in the oven at 375 for 15 minutes and I take it out, top it off with my favorite toppings, throw it back in the oven for 10 minutes, or until my eggs are as done as I want them to be,” she said.
She layered peanut butter, ham, cheddar, cheese, scallions, bacon, and pepper on top of the pastry, popping it back in the oven until done.
Ten minutes later, breakfast is served as she pulled the pastry off the baking sheet.
“This breakfast galette with puff pastry is one of those dishes that’s easy but impressive, lazy but tastes like a lot of work,” she said.
“Measure with your heart, use as much as little as you’d like, switch it up, play with it, have fun with it,” she advised.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts on her recipe.
“This girl said lazy and pulled out the cheese grater, this looks bomb though,” joked one commenter.
“Girl do it! I’m locked in,” said another impressed viewer.
“Love this idea, I’mma make it,” said another.
