Occasional Digest - a story for you

NINTENDO is currently running an amazing offer that gives the biggest ever discounts on the Switch’s most popular games.

First-party Nintendo games are known to not drop in value even when they are on the second-hand market.

Series like Mario and Pokémon rarely go on sale, giving people few chances to get them cheaply.

However, the new system finally allows Nintendo fans to get some decent discounts.

Until Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Nintendo Switch owners can receive up to 20% extra Gold Points on selected Nintendo games.

Nintendo Online subscribers will gain the 20% bonus, while non-subscribers can still get 10% extra.

Gold Points go to your Nintendo account and can be used as funds against any purchases through the Nintendo Online Store.

This new scheme will give a lot of money back on some of Nintendo’s biggest games.

The money back gives players a great discount on upcoming games, as they are all first-party.

They all sell for almost full price even on the second-hand market, making this one of the best bargains you can get.

The DLC packs are not available on the second-hand market, so this is the best deal you can get on them.

Here’s the full list of games that are available as part of the offer.

  • Nintendo Switch Sports
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
    • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe + Booster Course Pass
  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
