Bobby Brazier joined EastEnders last year as Freddie Slater, the son of Little Mo Mitchell and evil Graham Foster.
Now it’s been confirmed Graham, played by Alex McSweeney, is on his way back to Albert Square following a prison sentence for raping Little Mo [Kacey Ainsworth].
Freddie was born following the attack after she refused to terminate her pregnancy.
Graham was last seen on screen in 2005 when Mo’s husband Billy Mitchell [Perry Fenwick] visited him in prison.
And Freddie will finally learn the truth about his paternity when he meets Graham for the first time.
Speaking to the Mirror, Alex, 38, said: “I’m grateful to be asked to reprise the role of Graham as I thought it was important for Freddie to be given some answers about his dad.
“I thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented Bobby Brazier.”
Alex’s shock return comes hot on the heels of another comeback that sent fans wild.
Last month The Sun exclusively revealed Michelle Collins is set for an explosive return as Cindy Beale.
Michelle’s character “died” off-screen in 1996 during childbirth while in jail for attempted murder.
Fans recently got a glimpse at Cindy living in France, but she will arrive back in Albert Square later this summer having rekindled her relationship with Ian, despite hiring a hitman to have him killed back in 1998 – much to mother-in-law Kathy’s horror.
Their son Peter, played by Thomas Law, will also return alongside his reunited parents.
