A former Queensland police officer has been charged with more than 60 historical child sexual offences.
The 75-year-old man has been charged with 66 counts of indecent treatment of children, four counts of rape and two counts of assault.
It is alleged the offences took place at two homes on the Gold Coast between 1995 and 2002, when he was a serving officer.
He is on bail and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court next month.
