The Atomic Kitten star has had to pull out of a series of dates for her No Regrets speaking tour and has now revealed she was advised by doctors to postpone the tour due to health reasons.
Kerry, 42, opened up about her health issues in her column for New! Magazine, stating: “I had to make the decision to postpone my tour last week, which was so difficult.
“I hate saying no to work and letting people down.
“I was really battling with myself and getting emotional about it, because I was so excited to see you all there.
“But ultimately, the doctor told me I needed complete rest and had to put my health first.”
She went on to say: “I need to make sure my body is back to its best so l’m in top form, physically and mentally, when I do go on stage.”
It comes after the mum of five opened up about her struggle in her column for OK! magazine, writing: “I’m in a bad way this week with my hips and my back – I’m in so much pain, I’ve essentially been bed-bound.
“My hips have been out of place for a long time, and now it’s got to the point where the pain is making me feel physically sick.”
The star also explained how the pain was so bad she even considered going to hospital.
She said: “I’ve been so close to going to A&E, but I don’t want to be a burden or waste anyone’s time.”
Kerry recently revealed her mum Sue flogged her wedding bands from her marriage to Brian McFadden after they fell out.
