She said: “Buckle up, bargain hunters.

“Have I got over £300 pounds worth of stuff for just £20? Yes, I have.

“You gonna hate me for it because these are utter steals.

“Do you know where they’re from? They are from Facebook Marketplace.

I love bargain hunting in charity shops, my latest haul saved me hundreds

“You might not always associate Facebook Marketplace with designer branded accessories, but they’re there.

“So let’s not beat around the bush. Let me show you.”

First up – a pair of practically brand new UGG boots.

“Just look at these… a lady on Marketplace is advertising these suede and wood Ugg boots.

“These are the linear weave vintage clog-style ankle boots, and they are pretty much like new.

“What I love about these is that you can have them as a longer boot, or you can turn them down so they look like this and then you can see the Ugg studs there.

“Brand new, these would cost in the region of about £240.

“I got these from the lady on Marketplace for a tenner.

“You might think, ‘Hmm boots in the summer’ but don’t you think they’ll look great with a festival outfit, like shorts and a long shirt and a vest top?

“I think they’re going to look incredible.

“And also, obviously, I can wear them in autumn/winter as well.

“I love these.”

She was also thrilled to find a Ted Baker purse on offer for just £5, usually priced at £84.99 when brand new.

Caroline continued: “Next up I saw this advertised.

“It is a Ted Baker leather matinee wallet in rose gold.

“The lady advertised it as in good condition, so I wasn’t expecting it to be in pristine condition which is what it is.

“Ted Baker, the beautiful diamond clasp at the top, and the inside is immaculate.

“This design is currently on their website in the sale for £55.

“The lady on Marketplace sold me it for a fiver.”

The keen bargain hunter also picked up a designer bag -and again was left stunned by the quality and condition of her preloved find.

“Next up we have a handbag. It is a Fiorelli handbag and it is the Clemmie style.

“This is leather and it is like new.

“The lady actually said that she’d used it just once and she decided that she had so many bags that she really didn’t need it anymore.

“This is currently online for £35, that’s in the sale. Originally it was £69.

“The lady on Marketplace sold me it for a fiver.

“So there we go, over £300 of top brands for just £20.”

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, Caroline shared some of her top tips for finding a secondhand steal.

Talking about which day is the best to visit your local stores, she commented: “Charity shops tend to get their rails ready for the ‘weekend traffic’ on a Friday.

“So, if you’re able, head to a charity shop on a Friday afternoon when you’re more likely to get your pick of the best bits before the weekend crowds descend.”

And apparently, there’s a simple key trick when it comes to finding the best bargains – rummage.

She added: “My best tip is always rummage!

“So many people just take a sweeping glance. If you want the good stuff, you need to look in every nook and cranny.2
