Small cultural differences often leave big impressions on holidaymakers when they head abroad – and that was definitely the case for the pair on their recent visit to the Emerald Isle.

While driving through Offaly county, tourist Aaron Craig was amazed to spot one of the machines selling trays of eggs, so much so that he had to buy some.
In a video he shared via his Instagram, he is seen laughing in disbelief with his partner at the machine, particularly at how many eggs he was able to buy for €7 (£6), with his tray containing 30.
Aaron captioned the video: “I just found an egg vending machine in Ireland. I was not expecting the amount of eggs I just got.”
He is seen tapping his card on the contactless reader before waiting for one of the doors open, revealing his egg tray.
He and his partner are both amazed at how cheaply they were able to buy quite so many eggs for the price, with American egg prices much higher than those in Europe.
Aaron is heard saying: “This is seven dollars? This would’ve been $1,000 in America.
“I was not expecting that. Wow!”
Other people were amazed by the footage too, with lots of people leaving comments.
One said: “Only in Ireland could you get an egg vending machine.”
Another wrote: “I would like to find this machine, so cool!”
A third added: “That’s totally rad! Never seen anything like that.”
The machines aren’t the only thing that Americans have been baffled by on their visits to Europe recently.

Nathan told the Sun Online Travel: “Everyone saying good morning at tourist attractions is something Americans find surprising.
“It’s because they’re seeing people in a good mood.
“We go down to the village and everyone says hello, our guests find it very nice.”
Laura and Nathan also revealed the eight things Americans don’t understand when they visit UK including phrases like “high-street” and “quid”.
