She said she used to waste so much money on skincare but no longer has to.
Nutritionist Maty Harrington (@nutritiouslyeasy) shared healthy recipes on her TikTok account.
From smoothies to fresh juices, she shares it all.
In a TikTok video, she told viewers the recipe for her preventative Botox juice shots.
The best part is that no juicer is needed to make it.
“I used to waste so much money on my skincare but soon came to realize that your skin is just a reflection of the nutrients that you’re putting in your body,” she explained.
First, she placed a quarter of a sliced green apple in a blender bottle.
“One medium apple has 14 percent of your recommended daily vitamin C intake,” she said. “I prefer green because it’s less sugar.”
Next, she placed two beets, which she refers to as the “nutritional powerhouse,” into the container.
“They’ve been seen to help with aging, produce pigment, and fight against acne,” the content creator added.
Then, she poured a quarter cup of aloe vera into the mixture because it helps fight inflammation and is also great for psoriasis and dermatitis, according to Maty.
Following the aloe vera, she tossed in one organic cucumber with skin and a handful of mint leaves, which are known for their anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.
“They really help with my dark spots,” she divulged.
Lastly, she put half a lemon in with the rind because it’s supposed to increase collagen production.
To top it off, she filled the concoction with about two cups of filtered water and then blended it all together.
“Save some money on Botox and drink this instead,” she said as the video came to a close.
She also encouraged her audience to “skip the Botox” and “try this instead” in the video caption.
Many people appreciated Maty’s holistic skincare advice.
“I’ve struggled with psoriasis all my life, gonna start adding aloe juice to my life,” a viewer commented.
“I do a big thing every week. Beets, a whole lemon, aloe juice, dandelion tea(5 bags I let sit in 6oz of water for a day), ginger, and pineapple,” another shared.
“Don’t laugh at me, but I had no idea you could drink aloe vera. Going to make this,” a fan added.
