I’m an elegance expert – 5 jewellery trends that make you look tacky… classy women will never wear them

AN expert has shared the jewellery that elegant women won’t ever wear and says that if you have them, you’re tacky. 

A woman who calls herself TaTaa ‘Your Feminine Friend’ online, has raised eyebrows by pinpointing the exact items you shouldn’t get out of your jewellery box.

In the video, TaTaa films herself looking ultra chic with her hair trailing down her arms. 

She wears a vibrant orange shirt and some luxurious-looking gold earrings as she shares her controversial opinion. 

The text reads: “POV: Things elegant ladies won’t wear.” 

First, she shares a picture of a woman’s neckline. It’s crowded with lots of necklaces in different shapes and metals. 

There’s a gold choker featuring a central dangling red heart, a gypsy-style gold chain with numerous charms and another chain with a name on the end.

There’s also a silver chain with multiple charms on the end and a long necklace which hangs down into her chest area. 

This suggests that layering your jewellery is seen as ‘tacky’, and TaTaa claims you’ll never see an elegant lady sporting such a look. 

The second look shows a picture of a woman’s hand. She’s wearing a chain-link gold bracelet and a chain-link ring on her index finger.

The accessories are connected by a shorter chain across the top of her hand, featuring gold butterfly charms. 

The style is another big no-no from TaTaa. 

Just like layering necklaces, the expert suggests the same rule applies for bracelets. 

Another image shows a woman’s wrist totally covered in no less than seven gold bracelets of varying sizes and styles. 

Rings are on the naughty list, too. 

TaTaa suggests stacking rings on your fingers is very tacky, and the more rings you stack, the tackier it gets.

Finally, we reach the ears. 

The expert shares a snap of a woman’s ear featuring five piercings including three jazzy hoops on her earlobe and two colourful ear cuffs. 

The moral of TaTaa’s story? Too much is a bad thing – but not everyone agrees. 

“Well damn I’m not elegant then,” replied one user.

Another said: “I wear them all.” 

A third joked: “I think that’s [singer] Ariana Grande’s hand.”

And a fourth chimed: “Rihanna wears all of these.”
