The mum described her house as ‘the worst on the street’ but claimed the house had good foundations.

Lizzy Williams, who lives in Hertfordshire never expected to go viral when she shared her 3x4m pool on her Instagram account @renovationhq.

But now people are amazed with her entire home transformation which people say looks unbelievable.

Lizzy’s house was in a serious state of disrepair and a pool certainly wasn’t on the to-do list for the couple.

She said: “She was actually a bit of a golden phoenix esp[ecially] with the second storey garage extension which extended to the boundary.”

“That doesn’t happen so much these days so a full width room is really great. One to look out for in your house hunting,” she continued.

She said: “They were allowed to do a lot more in the 70s than we are permitted to do in these modern times.”

Lizzy said she would be taking on the garden transformation but she has already added a pool.

She said: “The poor neglected valley garden, home to three fibreglass ponds full of holes, years worth of debris and old refuse sacks.”

“Well this year she will be transformed from duckling to swan…hopefully…does anyone know if Amazon sell doses of motivation coz we need a few vials to kick start us over here!!!!”

Lizzy and Phil aimed to do all of the house renovations themselves using their £40k savings and remortgaging the house for an extra £50k boost.

The total cost came to £35,000 of their total £130k renovation costs on the house,  including a £15k safety cover, a pool house at £5k and a £6k fibreglass lining.

Last year Lizzy was criticised by Instagram users on the size of her pool.

“That’s not a pool, it’s a pond” someone commented.

While others wrote: “I see no pool, only a puddle.”

But the majority of viewers have left positive comments on the stunning home makeover.

One user asked: “Is it the same house?”

Another said: “Bl**dy hell that was an incredible transformation!”

“You need to have some vision to achieve these sorts of goals. Well done. It looks amazing,” a third viewer pointed out.
