Occasional Digest - a story for you

A MUM has hit back at parents who say she’s a bad mum because she doesn’t fold her kids clothes after washing them.

But the mum of two says she just doesn’t care and considers it a waste of time.

Rachel Morgan admitted she doesn’t bother folding any clothes after doing laundry on TikTok

She said: “We don’t fold clothes in this household. I just put into piles of who’s who’s and then you can go show it in your drawers.”

Parents were stunned at the mums admission.

One user said: “No folded clothes, my OCD just went into overdrive.”

“So if you just shove clothes in a drawer unfolded, aren’t they all wrinkled when you go to put them on?” asked another.

A third viewer confessed: “Yeh not my style to throw clothes unfolded, unironed in draws. I need organisation.”

Rachel responded to her haters in another video saying she was surprised people were so upset about her lifestyle choice.

She said: “I didn’t expect to trigger so many people by the fact that I don’t fold our washing”

Admitting she hated folding clothes she said: “I never do, it’s my least favourite chore. I couldn’t imagine anything worse than sitting here and folding all of this washing.”

“We’re all fine, people who are concerned for my children, they’re fine, they’re happy, they’re healthy,” she insisted.

Rachel said she didn’t see the point of folding most garments.

She said: “[The clothes] just get shoved in their drawers and messed up anyway so who cares?”

She confessed: “My towels get folded because they’re stacked in a linen cupboard But everything else I don’t care.”

Rachels video gained over 900,000 views. Many parents stepped up to defend the mum saying they also chose the lazy way out.

One user said: “I didn’t know I was allowed to do this, thanks!”

Another said: “You know the whole shove in your drawer theory is low key something tonnes do but won’t admit hahahahah.”

One mum admitted: “I will run the dishwasher twice to three times if it means I don’t have to stand there scrubbing them.”

“Folding washing is the bane of my existence too,” another argued.

But some viewers noticed something else about Rachel’s laundry methods.

One user argued: “We are all discussing about the folding and nobody cares about the clothes on the floor? CLEAN CLOTHES ON THE FLOOR? Is it only me? Come on people.”
