Nicole loves soaking up the sun so much that she has just returned from yet another holiday — this time in Lisbon with her former rugby star boyfriend Thom Evans, 38.
And next she will be heading for Sunset Boulevard — as she takes the lead role of Norma Desmond in the musical for a four-month run in London’s West End from September.
Andrew Lloyd Webber, the man behind the music in the show, has heaped praise on former X Factor judge Nicole and her vocal abilities ahead of its run at the Savoy Theatre in September.
He said: “Nicole is one of the finest singers I have worked with, and I can’t wait to get started on this exciting show with her and the rest of this brilliant team.”
Sunset Boulevard, based on the 1950 film of the same name, tells the story of Norma, a faded star of silent movies.
After the Pussycat Dolls disbanded in 2010 Nicole launched a solo music career which saw her score five UK top 10 singles.
She made her West End debut back in 2014 when she starred as Grizabella in the musical Cats.
Nicole’s exciting news comes after she performed at the Coronation Concert for King Charles last month.
Nicole first met her hunk boyfriend when he appeared on the X Factor: Celebrity series.
The loved-up duo spent time in Spain, Mexico and California last year.
